Postal code locations

To work out which contacts are near an event venue, MixerApp uses postal code locations from GeoNames, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0).

• Canada: the GeoNames postal code export for Canada, at the level of the first three characters of a postal code.
• United States: the GeoNames postal code export for the United States, at the level of a five-digit ZIP code.

The data is used as published. We changed nothing in it except to keep one location per code where the source lists a code twice.
